The imminent release of the Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will see a host of improvements to the adored zombie-eliminating game from Capcom. This includes better graphics, updated technology, and enhanced gameplay quality. But what about the game's soundtrack, beloved for its array of licensed music? Often, licensed soundtracks get omitted in re-releases. Will Dead Rising face the same fate?

The answer, thankfully, is no. Capcom has formally assured VG247 that the remaster will incorporate licensed music. This leaves room for anticipation, as there is still uncertainty about whether all of the original music will be included or if some songs from the initial release will be absent. However, there is assurance that the much-loved licensed music from the original game will not be entirely eliminated in the remaster.

Notably, one difference in the remaster will be the main character's voice, Frank West. Terence J. Rotolo, the original voice actor, has confirmed that he was not summonsed back to recreate his role in this revival of the series.

The reimagined Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster is set to be released on September 19, with availability on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
